New street food event in Stratford!

Eeeeeek I’m so excited about this one. I’ll set the scene: you’re chilling by the riverside with your favourite chaps, the sun is setting over the Shakespeare theatre*, there are sweet tunes in the background, you’ve got a pint of real ale in one hand and a kick ass cheese melting toastie in the other. Oh yes, after hours street food has arrived in Stratford

The brilliant street food collective that is Scoff has been steadily spreading its food love in the Midlands shire over the past year with a regular slot at Fargo Village in Coventry (check out this great Camden-esque indie shop/arts/food enterprise if you haven’t already) and pop ups in Wolverhampton, Leamington along with a new venture in Rugby coming soon. Their next move is to the lovely Stratford, to the Boat Club to be exact. This Friday, there will be five streetfood traders for your savoury snacks, one excellent waffle maker, a real ale double decker bus and cocktails from an ice cream van..mm we think this is going to work, very well. As the weather (hopefully) gets better this promises to be the place for an epic Friday night, imagine the spring and summer nights by the river. swoon. We’ll be there with bells on this week for the opening night..see you there?

* never eat shredded wheat…does the sun actually set in that direction?! you get the idea
